Ella had her first slumber party at her friend, Maya's house. She also had 3 other little girls over and Ella was so excited about it ALL WEEK LONG. Everyday she woke up and asked me if today was the day she was going to Maya's house. Finally, on Saturday, Ella had her bag packed by 10am and was ready to go. It was a long wait until 5pm. We got her a sleeping bag and new pajamas and she was ready to go!
All the moms had bets to see who would get the first call for pick up and what time it would be. I was betting on midnight. As it turned out...none of us got any calls...the girls stayed up until 11:30 watching movies and we all picked them up at 9am and they were still going strong playing together. It was definitely a "big girl" moment for Ella!!
David & I decided to play tennis while Ella was at her party. Note : It was 6pm and still 107 outside so I was DYING! We went out to dinner afterwards and I was still sweating. But it was fun for us to get a night out also!
