We took a family roadtrip over Labor Day weekend. We drove to Charleston and stayed for a night and took a quick tour of the city before heading to Meme & Papa's house in Spartanburg, SC for the weekend. We hiked Chimney Rock & had lunch on Lake Lure (where Dirty Dancing was filmed) on Friday. On Saturday Ella went for her first train ride around a new little park in Spartanburg and then we headed to Greenville for some shopping. On Sunday, David & I took Ella to Lake Hartwell to meet up with the Klopp family who were all staying at the lakehouse for the weekend. We hung out on the lake and then had a big dinner and Ella got a chance to spend some time with her cousins, aunts & uncles. Finally, on Monday we headed to Clemson for the FSU Game. Ella went to her first tailgate party and got to wear her new FSU cheerleading outfit!! Ella was a trooper on our roadtrip and was a great traveler!!
